History
Paradise Brook Trout Company was established in 1901, and incorporated on May 29, 1902 as the first licensed commercial trout hatchery in the state of Pennsylvania.
Known Worldwide
In the past, Paradise Brook Trout Co. was one of the world’s leading producers of brook trout eggs. Paradise’s brook trout eggs were sold not only across the country, but internationally.
Babe in Paradise
Babe Ruth (center) was a frequent visitor to Paradise. Pictured left of Babe is George Stack Sr., the operator and part owner at the time the photo was taken. Front-center is George Stack Jr., who would later become the operator and sole stock holder of Paradise Brook Trout Co.
