Paradise Fishing Preserve is located on the grounds of Paradise Brook Trout Company. Established in 1902, this hatchery is the first licensed hatchery in the state of Pennsylvania. It has been family-owned and operated for over 75 years.

The hatchery raises brook, brown and rainbow trout for stocking of private lakes and streams as well as table use. Paradise raises approximately 150,000 pounds of trout per year from start to finish - we take our own eggs, hatch them and grow them up to stocking and breeding size. A percentage of these fish go into our fee-fishing pond, which was opened in 1968.
Between the preserve and the hatchery, Paradise Brook Trout Company draws several thousand visitors annually.
