Started in 1901, Paradise Brook Trout Co. has been raising trout continually for over 100 years. At the site of our historic hatchery is Paradise Fishing Preserve. The fishing preserve offers fee fishing for trout and bass, nestled in the beautiful Paradise Valley in the Poconos.

became the first privately licensed trout farm in Pennsylvania in 1902. A lot has changed since back then, but Paradise’s dedication to growing quality trout has not.

Fishing was great, staff was excellent will recommend to anyone coming up to the Poconos to do any fishing great time with the family a lot of fish. I’ll will do it again sometime in the future.

The grounds were beautiful. The staff was very friendly and helpful. You definitely guaranteed to catch some trout here. They even offer a service to clean and filet the fish for you. The family had a lot fun.

An excellent place to take the kids to enjoy fishing – all of the modern conveniences, well maintained grounds, along with provisions of poles, bait, gutting, and cleaning.

Beautiful place with polite employees. The Rainbow trout is delicious, put this place on the top of your bucket list!

Big Brown Fish Hatchery, Inc. offers Big Brown Fish & Pay Lakes, a fee fishing facility continuously stocked with beautiful trout from our own hatchery and largemouth bass, and trout and bass stocking for recreational angling.
